Britney’s on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine’s August issue this year, and they’ve got a nice interview and photoshoot with her inside.
“Things are pretty quiet right now,” she says. “I’ve been spending a lot of time at home with my boys (4-year-old Sean Preston and 3-year-old Jayden James). They just started karate class, which is super cute!”
And here are just some of the answers Britney gave for the mag’s fill-in questions:
If my sons told me they wanted to be in the entertainment business, I’d: lock them in their rooms until they turned 30.
I’m dreading the moment when my sons ask me: how babies are made.
The TV show I’d most love to make a cameo on is: Gossip Girl.
I’m not too happy with the magazine’s photo editors for that cover shot, though. Her head looks very misplaced, and I was hoping it was fake when I first saw it. Then I saw the tattoos, of course, so it’s definitely still her body. I feel like they pasted on a head from a different photo, though. I can’t imagine why, because I’m pretty sure it doesn’t look any better this way.
Well now we know the story behind those strange faces Britney made on her Starbucks run. If you check out the video above, the pictures were taken while Britney screamed “Oh my god!”
I hope she’s okay. She seems very shaken by something.
I can’t say I’m a fan of that video’s title, though. There’s no reason to believe that she’s having another “meltdown” just because something scared her. Jeez, people these days…
In other news, Britney also recently went shopping for lingerie at Only Hearts in Santa Monica, according to People.com. She left with some lingerie and a two-tone tulle dress.
Braving the steamy west coast weather, Britney Spears was spotted running around town in Calabasas, California on Thursday (July 1).
The “Womanizer” singer stopped off to get a caramel frappachino at Starbucks with her bodyguard on a 95 degree day, after which she ended up bursting into tears due to the swarming paparazzi.
Currently the subject of child welfare services rumors, an insider says Spears’ former bodyguard Fernando Flores is way off base in his claims that the “Gimme More” songstress is harmful to Jayden James and Sean Preston.
The source tells, “Britney is quite the opposite – she doesn’t discipline them enough and she will do anything to keep the boys happy. There are issues with Britney, but her abusing the boys are not one of them. It’s ridiculous what the guy is claiming. It never happened.”

Anyhow, random tabloids are talking about how Britney was crying, looking at that one picture. She doesn’t really look like she’s crying to me, so I bet it was just a sneeze or something. Danja is absolutely my favorite producer. His work with Britney all sounds amazing, and I love his futuristic beats. That being said, I was super excited to hear that he was working with Britney some more for her seventh studio album. The “Gimme More” singer looked summer comfortable in a bright red tank top with black short shorts on what was a very hot day in the valley.
Meanwhile, Miss Spears was brought up the previous night when “Eclipse” actress Dakota Fanning spoke of the pop star while visiting the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno”.
Miss Fanning told Leno, “…I went to a Britney Spears concert with my best friend and her sister. I was so excited! [She] was really the first famous person I met when I came to California. I met her in a store when I was 6 years old and I was so starstruck by her and I just loved her so much. Getting to go to her ‘Circus’ tour was like reliving [that].”"
